Ok what's the deal on these new boosters? Years ago we rebuilt these boosters. We had 2 problems: We were always short on cores and the cores were usually rusted and pitted. We are real picky here and refused to sell pitted rebuilt boosters to our customers. When we stopped rebuilding boosters, we supplied our customers with new reproduced boosters... they were all crap! We sought after the original GM blueprints and now we manufacture these correct units In Chrome.

1964-67 Chrome Corvette Booster, NEW, Correct Part #7011, Pin, Studs, Vacuum Fitting, Rivets, Clevis Included For years Corvette Stainless Steel Brakes, Inc. in Miami Florida had rebuilt midyear brake boosters. The brothers were always in short supply of good un-pitted cores. The boys looked at the repro mid year boosters available and did not like what they saw because they were not correct. So after acquiring original GM prints and spending tens of thousands of dollars in research, development and tooling the boys came up with an there 100% Correct Delco Booster so why not add some flare to an already good thing with Chrome1964-1967 Booster .
These boosters have the Chrome plating and the correct rivets, mounting studs, actuating pin with proper markings, chrome vacuum fitting with proper markings, brake pedal clevis with clevis pin and retainer, white plastic dust cover and #7011 Delco part number.
There new boosters are reasonably priced. If you have an original booster and have it rebuilt and Chrome-plated, it would cost more than this new units. Also when an old booster is re-plated, they usually look awful when finished because the plating does not remove all of the decades of corrosion and pitting. So now with these chrome boosters there is no point rebuilding your old midyear brake booster because the new units look better and cost less. Also available in 100% correct Delco booster.
