No other Corvette caliper offers the combination of perfectly restored castings and state of the art components, like our 45 degree parting line O-ring installed on every Dr. Vette O-Ring Piston. Our O-Ring design virtually eliminates the dreaded common leaky caliper syndrome like with the old lip seal design. From the beginning of hand selected castings, through the total renewal of all threads, port holes, facings, to the precision insertion of the smoothest stainless steel sleeve available. The Gold Series O-Ring Type Calipers are a genuine work of art!
 

 

Why go with O-Ring Calipers?

Lip seal design seals are used on 1965-1982 Corvette calipers. Lip seals have inherent problems. When they sit for a period of time they leak brake fluid. When they are used on a Corvette with out of spec rotors, spindles, loose bearings or a Corvette that is driven hard; they can actually suck air into the caliper fluid area causing a loss of brake pedal. This problem is called (by GM engineers) "Reverse Air Oscillation".. Because of these problems, GM quit using lip seals in 1982. O-Ring seals virtually eliminate all of these lip seal problems. If GM doesn't use lip seals anymore, why are you? Get the best with our Dr. Vette Calipers!

Every effort is made to process and ship your order the same or next business day. Any orders received after 1pm will be processed the next business day, Not including Holidays and Weekends .However, because we are a manufacturer of over 400+ parts, we may be temporarily backordered on a part(s). Due to high volume sometimes delays may occur and it may take up to 7-10 business days to ship your order once your payment has cleared. In the rare event of any further delays or backorders we will notify you with the option for a”no questions asked order cancellation”.

Domestic Shipments
You have the right to choose your carrier, but if an item has “Free Shipping” or “Discounted Shipping” we will select the carrier. You are responsible for the shipping costs when you select your preferred carrier.  USPS Priority mail usually delivers within 2-3 business days, but can take up to 2-4  weeks for both domestic and international shipments. International Shipments
Taxes/duties may apply in addition to the shipping fee you pay. The carrier may ask to collect taxes/duties upon delivery. For an estimate of these charges, we suggest you contact your local parcel carrier office or local government. USPS Parcel Post may take up to 2-4 weeks or longer for delivery after the items have been shipped. We will not mark any items as gift or sample. A Tracking number or “live” tracking is not always provided by your carrier once items are shipped. Please select your carrier wisely, lower prices do not always guarantee “Good Service”. Returns
Returns on new, uninstalled, resellable parts and accessories in the original packaging (except electrical items) are accepted within 7 days of receipt. There will be NO returns on electrical items. Returns are subject to fees, including but not limited to, listing fees. PayPal fees, and/or restock fees. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. Please contact us before buying if you have any questions concerning our return policy. Defective products must be shipped back to the manufacturer for inspection. Prior  to return, buyer must make contact with seller to receive an authorization number. No returns will be accepted without an authorization number.  All shipping expenses including duty and/or customs fees will be paid by the buyer.
