After 30 years CSSB is excited to finally offer GM Licensed Master Cylinders for Mid-Year 1965-66 Corvettes with Power Brakes. Meticulously manufactured from the factory original blueprints, these master cylinders are EXACT in every way including the Delco Mark. Featuring correct embossed GM casting # 5467084, Correct GM Part# 5467005, correct vehicle specific line ports, correct caps, factory finish and more... these are it!
There were 2 master cylinders offered; the Early 1965 Corvette Master Cylinder with small brake line ports (3/8 x 24 thread), and the other being the Mid Year 1965-66 Corvette Master Cylinder which had larger brake line ports (7/16 x 24 thread). The smaller port was usually on early to mid 1965 cars and the larger port was found on both Mid Year 1965-66 cars, we offer both versions!
Dont let us be the judge, ask around and read your judging literature. There have been horrible Illegal reproductions of this master cylinder that were just garbage. We know, we purchased them for resale and were forced to pull them off our product line due to our strict quality standards. So with no other options, we decided to pick this project up and do it right! Since we are an Official GM Restoration Licensee Manufacturer, we requested an Amendment to our existing License to add 1965 & 1966 mid-year Corvette Power Brake Master Cylinders. Now, that GM is back on their feet and better than before, we have been given the GREEN Light to produce these Correct Master Cylinders. Even the caps have the correct yellow ting to them making these Power Brake Master Cylinders a real eye catcher and Show Winner.
