 For the same reason aircraft manufacturers and race car builders do. Stainless Steel Braided Brake hose is far superior to rubber brake hose because rubber hose expands under pressure. Sort of like when you turn your garden hose on and you can see the hose expanding as the water pressure in the garden hose increases. Stainless Steel Braided hoses don't expand under pressure giving you a more firm, faster responsive brake pedal. Also, these hoses comply with U.S.A. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Most other brands don't comply. Compliance with American auto safety standards is a good thing. These hoses are assembled in America at our factory in Gainesville, Florida.
